The Lamar Missouri Police Department has released more information on a death investigation. On Monday officers responded to a call about gunshots and found a body at a nearby home. Yesterday authorities identified that body as 51 year-old Terry Harless of Lamar. Police say they are investigating the death as a homicide.
The city of Joplin recently bought 50,000 Masks to distribute to residents. The city will offer a drive-through pickup location at Memorial Hall. Pickup will be available in two hour segments starting at 7 a.m. 11 a.m. And 4 p.m. Both Thursday and Friday and again next Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Also from 9 a.m. To 1 p.m. This Saturday. Residents will have to provide a city bill, driver’s license or other official document proving they live in Joplin. The city has limited it to one mask per resident.
