The Great Texarkana Duck Fest which had been scheduled for next week has been cancelled.
The event that would have featured Jace Robertson, from Duck Dynasty fame had been planned for Friday August 9th at the Four States Fair Entertainment Center.
The Four States Fair & Rodeo had the following on their website:
This message is to inform you that Duck Fest on Aug 9th unfortunately has been cancelled. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, however, we look forward to greeting you on Saturday, Aug 17th for the 30th annual Duck Race as planned at Holiday Springs Water Park.
Full refunds will be issued in 5-7 banking days.
The event was to have benefited the Christus St. Michael Foundation.
