Counterfeit money seems to be showing up more and more around the Texarkana area.
The Wake Village Police Department put out a warning on their Facebook page that says they have seen an increase in the number of counterfeit bills that have been making their way into the money circulation.
The department particularly pointed to fake $10 bills. Authorities advise to watch carefully for fake bills when purchases are made or when you receive cash back.
If you run across counterfeit bills be sure and let your local police department know about it.
