Those wanting to get tested for covid-19 in Missouri will have a few options soon. The Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services has partnered with the Missouri National Guard local Health departments and health care providers in the Joplin area. Testing will be done from 10 a.m. To 6 p.m. On Sunday, July 19th and from 7 a.m. To 3 p.m.
On Monday, July 20th, The testing will be done at Ozark Christian college and the Carthage Memorial Hall. The testing is free for Missouri residents. However, you must register online to get a test. Governor, Mike Parsons signed into law a bill that makes some covid-19 test free. The new law says that if a doctor recommends a covid-19 test that tests should be free. The Department of Health and Senior Services will use federal funds to reimburse the healthcare provider.
