A shooting suspect is still at large as Joplin Police investigate leads from a Saturday night shooting JPD responded to the scene on 2925 East 9th Street just before 6 p.m. Officers found a woman with a gunshot wound. She was taken to Freeman Hospital in critical condition police say a man reportedly fled from the area before they arrived no arrests have been made at this time. Drive-thru Covid-19 testing took place on Sunday at Ozark Christian College in Joplin courtesy of the Missouri National Guard and the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services around 350 people registered to get tested for the coronavirus and the officer-in-charge estimates that just about all of them showed up.

Newton County Health Department added 13 new cases of covid-19 on Sunday making the total 737.

392 people are in isolation 341 have recovered and four have died from the Coronovirus.
