Joplin Police have identified the suspect in the Saturday's shooting. Authorities say, it's 27 year old Tyrell Harbin of Joplin. Harvin is wanted on charges of first degree assault and armed criminal action. Police believe Harbin shot a woman on East 9th Street Saturday night. She was taking him to the hospital in critical condition. Harbin was arrested in March in connection with a robbery on Grand Avenue in Joplin and was out on bond. He's charged with first degree robbery burglary and armed criminal action in connection with that crime.
Back in March Jason Gates didn't want to take a drug test for his employer. So his brother Chris called in a bomb threat to Cox Barton County in Lamar, Missouri. Jason has been sentenced to four years in the Department of Corrections. His brother Chris got five years probation. Their mother Terry Walker another suspect is set to appear in court again in August.
