Nick Edwards, City Manager of Joplin, discussed the projected tract of projects that will be funded by the renewal of the parks/stormwater tax. He also talked about the upcoming Proposition Action. Details can be found on the city’s website.

Blister Soul stopped by the studio to play a few tunes. Blister Soul is gearing up for a Back to School Bash performance with three other groups. The event is a fundraiser to benefit NAMI, Blackbox Intl., The ROCC and Non-Permitted. The event is Friday, August 27th with the doors opening at 6:30 pm. It takes place at The ROCC at 1402 S. Main in Joplin. Admission is $10.
