We're proud to be the offical voice of the winningest NCAA Division II football team in the nation, the Pittsburg State Gorillas. The Gorillas are regular contenders for MIAA conference championships and are a perennial national playoff team.

But the Gorillas aren't just about football they're also a powerhouse on the hardcourt . Since 1992 the men's and women's teams have appeared in the national tournament eight times.

PSU also has succesful track and field teams, but it doesn't end there. In recent years both baseball and softball have enjoyed success within in the conference and the Pitt State volleyball team is quickly becoming a regular in post season competition.

Since 1990 KKOW has been the broadcast voice of the Purple Dragons, who have been in the Kansas State Playoffs more than any other team in the state.

The success of the Panthers is well known throughout the midwest. It includes a state record 66 game winning streak in football (2000-2004) and 10 state baseball titles.
