Kansas State Wrestling Tournament
KKOW Broadcast live from the Kansas Coliseum in Wichita Feb. 25 & 26 site of the State 4A/5A/6A State Wrestling Championships. 38 local wrestlers qualified for the tournament with 2 bringing home championships. Congratulations to all of the qualifiers and a big thank you to our GREAT sponsors!
Coach High rallies the Gorillas
Coach Steve High talks strategy with the Gorillas during the first round the MIAA Tournament at Municipal Auditorium in Kansas City. After a great comeback the women fell to the Griffons of Missouri-Western 72-20.
Tip-off at Municipal
The Gorilla women tip-off their game against the Missouri Western Griffons. After being down by as many as 14 points in the second half the Gorilla's made a furious rally to take the lead with 10.3 seconds left. In the end a three point shot by the Griffons ended the women's season with the final score 72-70.
